Welcome to Mela Fleurs floral design studio located in Hoboken, New Jersey. Mela Fleurs specializes in long-lasting arrangements made with dried, preserved florals. Our designs use bold blooms and unexpected textural elements to create a unique look. We offer both pre-made arrangements and custom designs. Our pre-made arrangements are offered in store and online and include limited-time seasonal arrangements. For custom arrangements, we work within your budget to create a design using colors and textures of your choosing. Clients are allowed to bring their own vessel* or may choose from a selection of curated vases in our shop. Mela Fleurs also offers custom arrangements for professional spaces, small weddings, and corporate events.

BYOV Program

Our BYOV (Bring Your Own Vase) Program is a way for clients to create arrangements for their existing vessels. Clients who provide their own vessels will receive a 15% discount. Please note that vessels are subject to approval by Mela Fleurs and pricing will be determined upon in-person evaluation of vessels.

About the Owner

Melissa Diaz (usually called Mel or Mela) is the founder and owner of Mela Fleurs. Before entering the floral industry, Mela worked in media at the New York Times, Mashable, and New York Mag/Vox Media. Her background is in market research and analytics, which she loves, but has always been drawn to creativity and beauty. The pandemic allowed Mela to explore her passion for floral design and thus Mela Fleurs was born.

Mela is originally from Manhattan but has lived in Hoboken for the past couple years.
